It takes a mighty strong performer to have  Otis Taylor open for them. That could be a slippery slope but Eric Lindell did just that, and man it was great.
Otis started the party off with his ‘trance blues’ and thanked Eric for asking him to join him on the bill, it was then Eric’s task to keep the party going.

HE DID !

From the first notes to the ringing last chord, Eric Lindell treated the audience to his New Orleans infused gumbo of American Roots music. An exceptional songwriter, Eric and band kept everyone on high burner working their way through the songs with a feel of an old time rock and roll show – one after another they came at you hardly a time for pause.

After taking a short break to re-fuel they hit the stage again. Keeping the intensity level at full throttle till the crowd couldn’t take it anymore and left dancing into the brisk night winds that blew through the NYC streets.

Eric and band kicked out the jams 2/25/12 in NYC for an enthusiastic crowd of new and old friends alike.

Until next time,
